Papyrus flicked a pair of sunglasses over his eye sockets and nodded. This would be a perfect site. It was time. He'd seen it in all sorts of human media. Papyrus was going to go camping. He'd mentioned it to a few friends. And by mentioned, he talked about his plans incessantly to everyone who stood still long enough. He hoped at least someone could make it. He was ready dressed in a t-shirt, khaki shorts, a baseball cap, a red bandanna around his neck, and a pair of second-hand hiking boots. On his back was a pack of gear that was at least half his height, no doubt packed full with very important camping gear. While he waited for anyone to show up, he decided to pitch his tent. Getting it out of the bag was hard enough, but once faced with the mass of canvas and bendy little poles, he found himself a little overwhelmed. He wouldn't let it defeat him though! Armed with a set of directions, Papyrus, Master of Puzzles, was going to get this tent up!
With visions of campfires and ghost stories and hiking and swimming, he powered through, thinking about all of the fun he was bound to have. A few hours and an unexpected power nap later, the tent was finished. Papyrus stood exhausted and proud in front of his masterpiece. Taking his phone out, he took a selfie in front of it.
"FOLLOWERS. JOIN ME ON AN EXCITING CAMPING TRIP. HAPPENING NOW. #camping #papyrus #great" He posted it to every social media site he belonged to with a link to his location.

It was such a nice day and along with that Papyrus was off on his own doing Papyrus things. Sans was comfortably comfortable on his comfy couch snoozing away the day. He had initially turned down the offer to go on the camping trip as it was just too much work but after a few hours his phone was blowing up. Sluggishly he reached toward coffee table where his phone was only to watch it vibrate off the table, passing by his boney fingers. Slightly more awake the skeleton reached down and picked up the device and stared at all the alerts from the various apps. It seemed his brother was lonely. He leaned back against the couch once more, shaking his head a bit while debating if he wanted to stay on his couch or go keep his brother company.
Family won over comfort and laziness. He stood, grabbing his jacket as he flipped open the door and stepped through into the forest. Without bothering to straighten out his coat he approached silently behind his brother.
“think ya sent out enough notifications?”

The forest was one of Amaranthine's favorite places, and probably the only one in which she could truly relax. It reminded her of simpler times - granted, the Middle Ages had been far from perfect, but at least in the early years of her life she had known relative peace. And this new world was so... overwhelming. She had lost consciousness in a time when the damn printing press was a revolutionary invention.
Now, she had to wrap her head around cars and phones and airplanes. A giant tube of metal should not be able to fly, at least not without copious amounts of magic involved! She thought exhaustedly, leaning her head against the trunk of an gnarled old oak.
And the internet! Do not even get me started on the internet. Though I suppose it does have its uses...
Heaving a deep sigh, she plopped down on the ground and leaned again a tree to stare at the sky.
The world may have changed greatly, but the humans didn't. She thought bitterly. They are the same as ever, and that is keeping me very busy most nights.
Rather suddenly, she felt the presence of a powerful soul simply... appear near by. Frowning, she stood and went to investigate, wondering who else would be this deep in the woods.
Whoever it was, she wasn't particularly worried.
