Out in the alleyways, where the more questionable humans and monsters roam wild. This is where Xander goes to fulfill his desires. Other people may frequent bars or clubs to experience what some may call a "Night life", but Xander calls out to a different breed to get his kicks. Men and women formed what ended up being a makeshift ring of humanity and monster-kind as the boldest of the two frequented the center of it. The purpose was not one of rivalry, but instead one of life. Those who seek out this gathering wanted only to experience what it was like to extend themselves far more then what civilized society had to offer them. Nothing was further from the truth for Xander. He was a regular face around those parts and became somewhat of a myth whenever he showed up. Others fought hard for pride and glory in these semi-controlled brawls. Xander came to get a fix that pushed him to go on with another week of his life. There were a few new faces here tonight and Xander looked to challenge them.
"Your up, Xand... do try to actually hit somebody this time. We don't want these newbies to get the wrong impression of how we do things around here."
The crowd parted to let him in and as explained by the "Referee" Xander removed his shirt, shoes, and belt. Some of the new people gasped at the look of his skin underneath. Covered in scars... some wounds barely healed. His opponent appeared just out from the crowd, which started to get psyched up for the last battle of the night. Xander smiled and took out the two knives from his back and planted each one at the ground at either side of him. There would be none of that tonight, but this wasn't exactly a sewing circle either. Only pure brawn and some magic was allowed in this fight. This fight that Xander needed to ease his pain, oddly enough. "Try not to give up too quickly, alright?" Xander bounced in place as he limbered up for this conflict. The combatants were set and all that was left was to find a winner. He put his hands up and approached the person without much alarm. Was that all part of his plan? If only the person he was facing knew what they were getting themselves into.

Undyne had overheard from shady people she had passed by that there was a place downtown where everyone came for a good brawl. Well, it had been some time since a good fight, so why couldn't she go down and see if there was anyone challenging there? From an alleyway, there was shouting of people and noises of people getting beat into the ground; hey, this seemed to be the place she was searching for! Following her ears, the fish turned left and right countless times until the voices could be matched with their speakers and some backed away to make room for her. Undyne truly meant to be within the crowd, spectating and tallying up who would make a worthy opponent, but she felt a human shove her to the middle of the circle while everyone else sealed her exit. There was no turning back now!
Her opponent had more scars than she had seen in her life totaled, which didn't worry the Head of the Royal Guard, but when the knives came out and were placed down, the fish automatically set into defensive mode. She had no certainty that he would not pick those up later, but he wasn't the only one who was going to have a back-up plan. With a flick of her hand, a glowing icy blue spear emerged, then demonstrating how easily she could flip it around her body before slamming the pointed tip into the cement. Okay, back-up plan, awareness of knives; the only thing that would not end her in a good position was how unpredictable or strong the other red-head was.
A bit of a smart-alek maybe? Attitude always made a fight more intense...for her at least. "Okay, just as long as you don't bleed too much. I don't want my shirt ruined." Some "ooh"ed at her snappy reply. She set up her fists and was ready for a brawl. It had been ages since her latest and this would be a fine refreshment.

The only thing that surprised Xander about his opponent was the sheer build of her. It wasn't often that he had to look up at his opponent. even then he was less concern than impressed. It was not going to come as slow like most of the others. That might have been to his benefit. Even then he needed to test the waters of how strong this fish lady actually was. What better way of doing that, then experiencing it first hand... or more appropriately, first fist.
He noticed her manifest a spear out of thin air and slam it into the ground. interesting power to say the least. However, one he wouldn't have to worry about in this bare hands brawl. Xander chuckled some at her retaliating quip. He approached her, completely devoid of caution. "If we aren't getting blood all over each other's clothes, then we aren't doing this right." He wasn't even kidding. He was also basically presenting himself to her. "Ladies first."
Xander continued to play his dangerous game. Inching ever closer to Undyne at a slow, but steady pace. He would see if the fish would go for his bait. Last time someone got a really good shot at him he nearly flew through the crowd with their strike. He challenged her to do better. Then again if she was a grappler he could actually be in trouble, so he was watchful for her to attempt to reel him in. He smirked at the concept. A fish catching him. Well I guess he shouldn't FLOUNDER around. Heh... "Come and get it, Filet-of-fish. They are looking for some action."

Mockingly, the monster acted as if she were some 'lady' all impressed by his 'manners' "Such a gentleman." A good opponent would attack first, but a better one would react from yours accordingly; this kid at least had the right idea. Rolling her shoulders, she got into a fighting prepared position, giving another comeback before the fists began flying. "When it comes to beatin' someone bloody, I don't disappoint an audience." Just to test out what all she would throw at him, Undyne faked out a close tackle to see if he would jump, flinch, or swipe back.
Seeing his reaction, she chose a uppercut meant to strike his sternum or his stomach, whichever one caught first. Being alert to face punches and kicks to her side, she backed away for a blink of an eye prepared to leap back into action as the opportunity sprang. While momentarily retreating, the fish saw that she was the tallest one there. She had no issue with that, but she thought that she might be able to pick on someone her own size. Heh... guess not.
(Sorry for the long wait! Hope this will suffice.)

The strike came in like a freight train and knocked Xander clear back into the crowd of people and even then they fell back by the sheer force. As they regained footing and pushed Xander back into the fray. He laughed as he wiped bile from his chin. "Alright... my apologies for before. You've got what it takes... but no offense. I'll be trying for real now." The strike certainly didn't do anything to alter his cocky attitude. Now for a little pay back. Undyne having no left eye certainly opened up possibilities for him. He wanted this to be fair though so he chose not to use that and would face her head on. Plus he was a slippery little bastard so tangling him up would prove cumbersome for the aquatic giant. So he would opt for using his speed, his wit, and his joyful mind games to bring her to absolute fury.
Xander sprinted at Undyne and used his momentum to slide for her legs. Tripping up this behemoth and bringing her face to his level of punching would be a fair start to strategy to attack. Exactly what she would think too probably. Which is why half into the slide Xander righted himself and sprung forward into a kick aimed right for her chest instead. Fish have gills right?... where would an anthropomorphic fish have her gills?... He bet all on black and committed to the strike. Let's see what Undyne had to offer him.
(Hey, it's all cool ^^. post when you can. No pressure)

Suggesting that he was going to swipe her legs to knock her down, she jumped, prepared to step on him and hold him down and claim her victory, but rather than that, the she-monster was caught 'off guard' and a well-forced kick set her on her butt. Picking herself up and dusting off her shoulders, she tried thinking up yet another witty comment and clever move to throw at the human next. "That was you trying? Wow. Just...wow. I used to have a training dummy at my house before we reached the surface and even that gave me better competition!" The angrier the opponent was made, the more intelligent thought could be clouded by rage and unfocused movements. Maybe not the snappiest thing she could summon, but it was all she could do while using the outer walls of a building to jump off of for a higher advantage to strike him. Undyne was expecting him to catch her leg, therefore, she could swiftly twist about and place him on his back, but even if the simpler plan worked and he didn't catch her leg or it entirely failed and he dodged it, she could just switch to classic fist-to-fist combat.

He smiled as Undyne lifted herself from the ground. Then her quip back at him was an adorable attempt at flattery, at best. "I'd stick to punching at things with your fist. Your verbal jabs are obviously not going to hit their mark." He laughed as the crowd around them groaned at his reach at a pun. A Sans he was not, but then again he wasn't aiming to please the crowd with his jokes... Only himself. Besides, she was trying to derail him by using his own tactics. She would find out soon enough who she was dealing with here. He would watch her climb up to higher ground. "Oh! I know this one." Xander harnessed all of his knowledge of pro-wrestling and deduced that she would be using an "Elbow drop from the top rope".
He had to admit that this was a new tactic. Usually people in the circle made points to brawl head to head... not so much in such an indirect manner. As her leg was presented to him he accepted it. What was her game? Now he had her leg... He thought of what to do with it. Well logic would dictate to simply push her to the ground, but that was just no fun. He pulled her along, hopping on one leg, and brought Undyne back to the center of the circle. So how was she to react?

He took the bait. He grabbed her leg, the window of opportunity opened long enough for her to quip, "Fine by me!" before she aimed her foot behind his head and twirled around. After her body hit the ground, she lifted herself up, a bit dizzy and legs faintly worn out from her last attack; boy would magic be helpful right now! She ignored the suggestion from her body to sit down and take a short break to approach the human and attempt to get him in a headlock, but was now a good time or should she wait for a rebound and give a better performance? Eh, it wouldn't be fair for him if she did that now. Spectators would begin to lose interest in her competing if there was no chances for opponents to make their mark on her, so she backed away six feet away from the outer rim of the circle.

A surprisingly nimble move from her in his opinion. He half expected Undyne to simply brute her way through everything. Once again after taking the hit the kid laughed and removed a spot of blood from his lip. "Full of surprises aren't you?" Alright... this might be more of a thing than he thought. "I thought you'd just muscle through this." He calmly moved forward back towards her. "You got my attention, and I commend you for that." His eyes darkened and a dark aura emanated from his oddly black soul. "Now... let's give them what they want." He looked around them. "This ring is far too small for what we are capable of... let's get rid of it, shall we?" With a wave of his hand the circle around them dispersed and the participants lined up against the two walls of the alleyway. Now they had a vast chamber sized area to work with. "Now... stop playing around with me and just go all out... trust me, I can take it."
He pointed at her and then at the spear. "Is this your special power? I will tell you right now, you're going to need it. Because I'm going at you with all of my power now. Every ounce of HATE I have is now devoted to you, Big Fish." He breached her space quickly and offered her a two armed swing aimed at her torso. There was no telling Undyne what his new power was offering him. As the swing completed he anticipated either the strike connecting with no effect or Undyne moving from the way. If his strike made a connection he expected her to go for a grab on him, but he had a trick up his sleeve if she wanted to stay up close and personal.

Smugly, the warrior shrugged and grinned, sarcastically trying to come across as modest. "Oh, I guess you could say that." Internally, she laughed until she turned blue; oh, wait. She was already blue!! Maybe if he survived her bruising, they could swap tactic information or at least the monster could give the human some pointers so maybe he could get blood out of her one day. The way this fight was going was becoming boring for Undyne, so much talk, but at least there was action in between the lines! "Hasn't your mother ever told you not to judge a book by its cover?" The fish scoffed, surprised that he thought she was only a brawn fighter and held no strategy, but just to pound things into a mud hole. C'mon, how did anybody think that she became the Head of the Royal Guard if that was all she did?!
His compliments were nothing more than words to the spear-wielding one, but he seemed to be holding back by what he stated afterward. "Oh, so there IS potential in there! Yeah, the whole alley will do if we're gonna show our true might." Undyne witnessed the disappearance of the small ring and the widening of the pair's space. Now this was going to get good or at the very least, entertaining! But here they went again with the dialogue. "Child, is all you do talk? So I'll take your advice and say you can take my all, but i just wanna let you in on something. If you do intend to fight someone, don't stand there talking about it; your free tip of the day."
Yellow eye stared at her spear, still glowing she noted, and looked back to the short human. "Nahhh, my power is to fly; of course that's my magic!" A webbed hand rested on her hips, listening to the scarred person again and actually grabbing her attention.
She only began to dash for the spear rather than calling for another, perhaps a dumb call, just to be stopped by a double blow to her stomach, tossing her onto her back, knocking the wind out of her temporarily. It already was showing improvement! The fish shoved herself back to her aching feet, charging past or tackling anything in her path to the weapon.
