As the clouds dyed themselves with vibrant pinks, purples, and oranges for the sun to admire while ascending, Undyne was gathering all the needs for going to the beach. With today being a sunday, the gym wasn't open and the fish had to have some way to exercise! Besides, maybe she could meet someone there who she might be able to wrestle with...or perhaps make a new gentle friend, like Frisk. Nevertheless, Trying to find the sunscreen was the only thing keeping her from speeding away to the shoreline. "Now where could it have possibly gone!?" The fish yelled in annoyance, "Oh well, I guess just going one time without it wouldn't hurt. I don't think the sun will burn scales like being in Hotland with a suit of armor on!" She shrugged, picked up the towel, sunglasses, and beach umbrella into the trunk, then retreated back inside to slip into her bathing suit. Before leaving, the fish took one last glance at herself and placed her hands on her hips. "All set."
Seemed like she wasn't the only one who had weekend plans for the outdoors. Humans of all shapes and sizes were lying on the sand and splashing one another with the salty water, and while some preferred to stay away from one another, there were a few bunches of kids that were both monster and human. Seeing that not all people were anti-monster made Undyne grin crookedly just a small little boy came up to her, as if he was just learning his 123s. "A-are you a fishy?" His squeaky voice asked, big brown eyes staring right into her yellow one. Once she understood what he asked, the red-head laughed before laying her stuff down and setting herself in the shade of the umbrella. "Yup! I'm a fish monster, Kiddo." The child seemed to be pleased as her poked her blue skin and scampered away to his mother, pointing at her with a happy smile. "Cute kid, but I didn't come here just to chat." She cracked her fingers, rolled her head and dashed across the blistering sand and dived into the water, splashing some teenagers who were most likely just there for the tanning girls.
Making laps for herself, some youth tried to follow her, but many couldn't keep up or just got dizzy from swimming in ovals. When the time finally came for her muscles to get sore, the soldier rested in between sand castles s she could dive back and train more when she had full energy.

Giving in to HATE had been quite good. And being able to live in a neat house made Chara’s plans to destroy humanity much easier. Hey, she even had somebody who wanted to do the same. Well, mostly… hopefully.
This day she was at the beach and unfortunately, stood out like a sore thumb. After all, despite the sunny weather and the fact that she was on a beach, Chara was the only human here wearing jeans and a sweater. Fine, it was a thin sweater that was blue with bright blue stripes. All that was missing was a fitting cap sailors used to wear. Still she earned some looks walking around here…
Her red eyes were covered by sunglasses. So, what was here to find? Disgusting humans, even more disgusting human-monster hybrids, normal monsters… a fish monster laying between sandcastles? Chara stopped and gave this monster a closer look. Wasn’t that the head of the royal guard? Maybe she looked too long at her before she continued on.

During her short intermission, Undyne looked up at some of the beings there, noticing a girls wearing sunglasses and a blue striped sweater. 'Why a sweater on the beach?' She asked herself, curious, but that kid looked like ... no, it's couldn't be, could it? They stood there just staring in her direction for some time, so maybe it was. The red-head sat up and waved one hand to try and take her attention, but they were walking away.
That was strange. Last time she saw Frisk, she was so nice and wouldn't ignore anyone, so why start now? Lifting herself, careful not to step on anybody, she jogged to catch up with the child who stood out. Undyne cut the child off by cutting in front and squatted down to their level a short distance away. "Hey, what's up? Haven't seen you in a while." Smiling wasn't a usual thing, but she tried it to make herself seem more approachable, but if my some chance this wasn't who she thought it was, maybe it wouldn't be as awkward.

So that’s how it was. Chara continued walking around. Then she heard footsteps behind her. Wait… had Undyne seen her? The demon girl tried to remember what she knew about the warrior: liked to cook spaghetti, one eye… no, she couldn’t have seen her, right?
Suddenly Chara saw her right in front of her. Smiling of all things. Could this be a misunderstanding? Oh right, her appearance: Sweater, sunglasses that hid her red eyes… well, she could play along:
”Hi. Indeed, it’s been a while.”

She was so busy with getting used to life in the sunlight that she completely had forgotten about contacting some monsters that she knew ten years ago. Well, maybe she could call them, if she still had their numbers, and maybe arrange for everyone to meet again somewhere, but now Undyne just wanted to relax with the human who had set them all free. "So how have you been, ya little twerp?" The fish playfully punched the human in the shoulder, calling her an old nickname she gave Frisk when they first met. Just to get her turn out of the way, she stated, "Been doin' good myself. Even found a part of town where I can hit people and nobody complains!" The harsh weather of the day was beginning to take it's toll; without sunscreen, any tan line she had was going to be a burn line soon enough. Noting the pain, the Royal Guard rubbed her arm and began to walk to her belongings waving a hand for the child to follow.

From what Chara had learned, some years lay between Frisk freeing the underground and the present. This might make it harder for her to find the people she wanted to take revenge on. Still… she had found Undyne. Now, what to do with her? Kill her? Eventually, but not now with several people around. ”Pretty good. I…” that punch in the shoulder interrupted her. Then she heard that nickname. What was that? It sounded so… weird… Chara punched back but tried to make that punch as weak as possible. After all, Frisk had been a weakling while she had much more malicious intent so her punches hurt more. Still the demon girl wasn’t too sure. She had countered as weak and shy as she possibly could. So the fish lady gave her some valuable information. And with that they were going to Undyne’s stuff… oh right, she couldn’t stand the heat for too long. Still, this place made her curious: ”Can you tell me where this place is?” suddenly Chara realized that Frisk probably wouldn’t have asked that: ”So I can avoid it?” meanwhile the gears in her head were spinning. What should she do? All she knew about Undyne was from that one time when she watched Frisk getting a cooking lesson…

Tsk, tsk, tsk; such sorry attacks. The feeble punches almost seemed to be trademarked by the little girl she knew what could never hurt a fly. One day, she might come across someone who wouldn't accept her mercy, but she would do her hardest to spare them. if only she knew... As the two neared their destination, everything seemed to be just as she felt it except her towel, which was cast aside to that a woman could sun tan. It was nothing to get in a fight over and cause a scene over, she supposed, but she liked her things to be where she left them. After grimacing in annoyance, the warrior straightened out her towel, placed her sunglasses over her eyes, and made herself comfortable in the shade of the parasol.
Frisk's question seemed to be out of character, alerting Undyne until a reasonable explanation came afterward. Don't get her wrong; she'd love to take her there and teach her to defend herself properly, but she and a certain goat teacher don't exactly see eye-to-eye in that situation. Besides, burn marks would cramp her style. Rolling to her side to inform the youth, the red-head wagged her finger warningly as she spoke. "Okay. It's downtown, but whatever you do, don't stay long after dark and don't try to take a short-cut down any of the alleyways. You just might meet a few of my 'friends' along the way." Realizing who she reminded herself of, she guffawed and rolled onto her back. "Great. I'm starting to sound like Toriel!! But take my advice, kiddo."
She layed in peace for a matter of seconds before curiosity was getting the better of her. Only turning her head, she inquired, "What brings you to the beach? And in a sweater might I also add?"
