“My brother once told me..that when you walk and live with honor You know it's never okay to mistreat people. When you live with honor, you value honesty and integrity. You know kindness is not a sign of weakness but a strength. Self discipline, self respect, and self control is more important than any shameful displays of irrational emotion. Angry displays of aggression are always unnecessary. When you live with honor, you would rather die with honor, than to survive by ill gotten ways. When you live with honor, your internal world controls how you function In the external world.
Honor or Pride. It's one or the other that is in control with every step you take. Maybe you probably haven't paid it that much attention. But it doesn't need your attention to function in your everyday decision making. Intentions come from deeper within and operate with less conscious active thinking.
So what's it gonna be? Pride or honor? Vanity or integrity? Hate or love? Life or death? It's your life, your choice, your experience, you make your decisions you live with it, probably even die with it. It's your choice, but just give it some thought before you unknowingly choose the wrong path.”
(Was really inspired by a great quote on Thoughts, so I decided to incorporate it into this OC.)
Name: Hayden
Nickname: Noble Spirit
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 10
Appearance:
Personality: Hayden is a rather caring and free spirited individual who wants nothing more than to see everyone happy even at the cost of his own well-being and happiness, he does love his friends more than anything as they are the only family he actually has. Hayden has what his now deceased brother Jason liked to call the noble spirit. Hayden is willing to give up his own well being for the sake of others. Everything he does gives off a sense of righteousness as even when engaged in combat he follows his own moral code preventing him from killing or resorting to otherwise dirty tactics. The boy has no reason to harm someone unless challenged or put in a situation where only combat can actually assist him, but after his older brother sacrificed himself to save the boy, his perspective on morality has become a gray line. However, even through all of that, his moral code keeps him going, he has no idea where morality can possibly take him, but in his eyes his brother must have believed that HE should be the one to survive for a reason. There had to have been a reason. So it is on his that he pursues his reason.
Background: Hayden was a human who had been brought up in a world full of strife and conflict when he fell from the surface, his older brother carried their younger sibling Hayden to Mt. Ebott in an attempt to escape the constant bloodshed between various tribes of people on the surface. However, Hayden's brother did not make the journey as he died upon reaching the entrance to the underground due to his injuries that he had received prior to the journey from defending Hayden, Hayden grieved for their brother armed only with his brother’s tattered scarf given to Hayden mere moments before his older brother died after being gunned down. Hayden fell entering the underground though they hadn't been killed by their fall, their heart had been hurt much like their body after losing their only remaining family. He would rise to his feet with the humans responsible for the death of his sibling still looking for him, the boy had been sought out by some of the most treacherous of his kind for what he had been told to be his potential in furthering human evolution. Jason had known of this plan and with a quivering heart pushed Hayden into the hole on the mountain all in an attempt to save his little brother, and as the rain of gunfire rocked Jason the person he had put himself at risk to save- would descend upon the Underground landing on a bed of golden flowers he would lie in heavy grief. His heart heavy with regret and his face wet with tears. Hayden would hope he was still alive, but all he would hear for but a few minutes after arriving in the Underground was the consistent sound of accursed gunfire. Those blasted weapons that had taken away everything from him: his home, his family, and his way of life. It caused something to snap inside him, he didn’t know what, but deep within him he could feel something breaking. He would stand upon the bed of golden flowers and looked up to the sky, he understood that Jason had willingly sacrificed himself to save him, there was no way he would let that noble act to go out in anything other than a BLAZE OF GLORY.
The boy clenched his fists and with silent tears running down his cheeks would follow the footprints left behind by seemingly seven individuals, he would make it through. Hayden would silently promise to himself and his brother that no matter what, despite them taking away his life’s purpose- that he would not allow himself to die here. For there was one thing Hayden would always keep his head up in HONOR of his brother. Now was the time to push forward with all he had. If he were to remain here without so much as a spark of who he was then what would his brother have sacrificed himself for? It was in his blood to make it through.
Powers:
HONOR- Hayden’s soul is brown, a practically unseen color among human souls, with this soul he has the ability to form a materialized guardian that aids him in battle. The guardian as Hayden’s abilities develop will increase in stats and abilities with it currently only having its two fists to use in combat. However, there is a hint in its abilities and the many runes that decorate its body that it may be capable of allowing its user a transformation through merging. The large entity is quite unique despite being far bigger than its user and capable of having its size manipulated, it serves as a powerful defense and offense. The Materialized Guardian also known as Solaris, isn’t bound by normal 4th dimensional laws (Dimension of Time) allowing its progress and level of power to grow even through resets. In other words, if there should be a reset, it won’t alter the power of Solaris nor return it back to zero. Solaris, the Materialized Guardian represents the discipline founded in honor, rooted in solid grounding of morals. Hayden as a bonus can merge Solaris with other objects or people allowing him to protect others as well. Finally, Hayden has another ability simply titled “Blaze Cannon” and with it a magic circle is made in a location of his choice releasing condensed energy. Unfortunately the release of such power expels too much energy, and stacking one top of another while it does amplify the power and overall efficiency, it does drain a multiplier of said stacked Blaze Cannons. For example stacking one on top of another, drains twice the amount of magical power. Further development is required.
Weaknesses: Hayden’s Blaze Cannon ability simply uses up too much energy so the use is quite limited and as a result the boy tends to use it only in short bursts and only about three times in a battle currently. The boy has no desire to kill as a bonus, in his eyes it would be dishonorable to kill and would go directly against his moral code.

[Cold Beginnings]
Setting: Snowdin Forest
Time: 9:00 A.M.
"I promise I'll come back mom, I swear it."
Hayden gave Toriel one final hug with tears in their eyes before letting go, the child was hurt as they had to leave behind the only mother they ever had. As soon as Hayden took their first step out of the ruins their HONOR faltered for a brief second causing them to fall to their knees while crying uncontrollably, after a few minutes of weeping Hayden gathered their HONOR once again and began to make their way through Snowdin Forest. It was rather cold and Hayden only had their Tattered Scarf for warmth, but they refused to stop walking and kept moving through the snow putting their best step forward each time. Toriel had given Hayden a new pair of sneakers to wear which really came in handy as the old ones they had were badly damaged from their fall, the eight year old saw a rather large stick in the middle of the path causing them to question whether or not they'd need some form of protection for the journey ahead. However, that question was made pointless as Hayden soon discovered that they could not lift the stick off the ground much less use it to defend themselves, the child released a sigh of disappointment before keeping their head held high as they continued walking.
Thoughts: "I promise mom, I'll come back to you. Right after I destroy the barrier."
Hayden would continue walking leaving small footprints in the snow where they had trod, their body was growing cold as they had not taken any essentials in terms of protecting themselves from the weather, the child would fall over yet again this time hitting the snowy floor face first. However, they would begin to crawl as their brown soul appeared in front of them as their only source of warmth. The thought then crossed their minds. Am I going to die here?
