Despite everything... ...it's still YOU [attr="class","scroller"]
Some of the other humans nearly jumped out of their skins when the skeleton appeared from seemingly nowhere. Frisk glanced over, feeling a wave of relief wash over her for a moment. It was so nice to have a friends there for support. But that relief suddenly turned sour in her stomach. No doubt the people were going to blame Sans now. [break][break] "Sit and wait? That's easy for you to say! We're all at risk here. Who's to say someone else won't end up dead? I knew I shouldn't have taken the damn subway..." The lady who spoke fanned herself anxiously as she kept her back to the wall, not trusting anyone. [break][break] Frisk sighed and shook her head, before shining the light over to Adam so that he could see. Sure enough the people were whispering again. Frisk heard someone mention under their breath that it was odd the skeleton showed up when he did. That's when suddenly the lights flashed back on through the car and the train lurched forwards. Frisk caught herself on a pole luckily, stopping herself from falling backwards once more. She looked up at the flourescent tubes and scrunched her nose. What was going on? [break][break] There was a DING over the intercom. [break][break]
"Excuse the delay ladies and gentlemen. There seemed to have been some technical difficulties but all have been resolved. We'll reach our next station in about 30 minutes. A train worker will be making rounds to each car to make sure that no one has been injured. Thank you very much!"

LIvan was just about to speak when the lights flickered back on and the car jerked to life. He grasped onto a nearby handle and shifted his weight so he wouldn't fall. Glancing upwards as the voice spoke up over the intercom, he nodded his head. "Well, we can wait for the train attendant to reach our car, then perhaps he can instruct us on how to handle this situation." As he spoke, he adjusted his glasses before sitting in an empty seat. "This is going to turn into a huge investigation. I wager that none of us are going to be getting to our destinations any time soon." Ivan kept a piercing gaze on Frisk as he spoke like he was blaming her for everything that was happening. MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

a grim commute tomorrow will be different from today Anya nearly jumped out of her skin when skeleton appeared. Sure, she had no problem with monsters, but mysteriously appearing out of nowhere was unusual, even by her standards. A second glance at the monster and she found herself wondering if he was related to that Papyrus skeleton she'd run into a few weeks earlier. She dismissed the thought; there were more important things at hand right now. "He's right," she found herself saying in response to the purple-haired young man. "The police will come and sort this out." Anya just hoped that the officers who were assigned weren't total racists, or things could end up very bad for the monsters aboard the train. |

Finally, the lights were back up. As soon as the train lurched into motion, Adam turned his attention towards Frisk, thinking that she might have gotten hurt. "Frisk, are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?" His gaze then turned toward the purple-haired prick. The look on his face showed that he was still putting all the blame on Frisk. Adam could never stand by while someone was giving his friends a hard time, and he wasn't going to start now. He got right into the purple-haired bigot's face, his eyes still glowing, and just one step closer to showing his more aggressive side.
"Got something to say, prick? Fine, grace us with more blatant bigotry. Talk about us however you want. It won't change anything. You'll still be a bastard who talks bad about monsters because he's jealous. Monsters and hybrids can use magic and live longer than humans, but you weren't born as either, so to you being a racist bigot is the next best thing. You know, what? It's fine, water under the bridge. I get why you'd be jealous. But if you've got something else to say about Frisk... well let's just say I don't take kindly to people picking on my friends."

I'm not ready for this to end. I'm not ready for you to leave. Asriel recognized Sans' voice and felt a shiver of fear. Sans was no threat to friends, but he'd witnessed first hand what he could do to enemies. He was also the only one not affected by his time resets. Every death, every insult, every time the timeline went to hell, Sans had seen it all. While Asriel was no longer Flowey, he doubted the one person who had motive to hate Flowey would become best friends with him any time soon. He just had to hope Frisk wouldn't take his side. His own anxiety sparked by Sans's presence, teamed with Adam egging on the humans making a fuss was making him a little shakey.
I wish you all would die too.
Asriel closed his eyes. No, he didn't. He hated those thoughts. He called them Flowey thoughts and they tended to pop up when he was stressed. He doubted he would ever act on them, but he hated that they came up from time to time.
He sighed in relief when the lights kicked back on. He felt sick, but he turned a small smile to Anya. "Thank you for standing up for Monsters." He told her, remembering that she had screamed earlier. "Are you okay?"

Frisk breathed a sigh of relief as the lights turned back on and the train continued to run. This was a bad situation, but it was a little better now that the worst seemed to be over. She glanced over to Adam and nodded her head. [break][break]
"I'm fine." But she could'nt help but notice the gaze from the purple haired man. Something felt off, like there was some deeper meaning to that piercing gaze. She shook it off though. He was just a racist stranger, that's all. She listened as Adam got after the man before she reached out and gently touched his arm. [break][break] "It's okay. The police will see that we had nothing to do with this. If he wants to talk, he can talk, but it doesn't mean anything."

Ivan's gaze averted to Adam as the hybrid spoke. He listened intently and could hard stop himself from grinning at his words. "Oh yes. Extremely jealous." He let out a chuckle and sat back into his seat. "At least she has a little sense. Sit down, boy, the next stop should be coming soon."But as soon as he said those words, the lights suddenly cut off once more. For nearly 10 seconds, the car was pitch black. This time, the emergency lights clicked on, bathing the whole area in an eerie red glow. That was when, again, a couple people screamed. Instead of finding a body, though, they found that yellow flowers had mysteriously sprouted inside the train, thorned vines wrapping tightly around the poles and seats. The corpse itself was also wrapped within the vines, squeezed so tightly that the thorns dug into the pale skin. Ivan's eyes widened as he glanced around, shaking his head in disbelief. "How can you explain this one, then?!"MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

DON'T FORGET Fear and malice hung thick in the air, heavy as the water tumbling from the sky aboveground. Huddled amongst the beings in this car was one who radiated ill intent, murder on their mind. Insubstantial, intangible, powerless to influence this reality in the physical sense, Gaster was clawing hopelessly at its threads in an attempt to pry free one in particular-- next-to-impossible to break, although it was imperative that he did.
The burnt-sugar scent of magic, suddenly filling the car with twining, thorny golden blossoms and thickening the atmosphere with the crackle of ozone, drew him, much to his dismay, through reality's thin membranes and into full view in the glaring red light.
Back hunched, skull scraping the ceiling of the metro car, the doctor abruptly loomed up in the center aisle, seemingly springing from the shadows beneath the seats. He was made manifest as a lanky mass of sometimes-dripping black robes that edged off into intangibility, swimming and flickering around him. The swath of darkness was recognizable as a humanoid figure thanks only to the grinning skull atop it, a jarring crack spanning one shattered eyesocket.
He could hardly find fault in the scream that rang out. xxx | ### | xxx MEL @ ADOXOGRAPHY

a grim commute tomorrow will be different from today Anya smiled at the young man with the goat horns--well, as much as she could smile with a dead body nearby. "It's no problem," she answered him. "There's no proof it was a monster--and even if it was, there are human killers too. One bad apple doesn't mean the whole lot is rotten."
She was opening her mouth to say something else when the car was plunged into blackness once again. She gasped, then her hand flew to her mouth in horror when the lights came back on to reveal the vines encasing the car.
"What the--?"
Before she could finish the thought, a horrific figure appeared in the car. The first skeleton magically appearing had been one thing--this one, however, was entirely different. The other skeleton had appeared at least somewhat friendly. This one just was terrifying. For the second time in ten minutes, Anya screamed.

As Adam turned toward Frisk, the anger that had begun to grow within him quickly disappeared, and the bright purple glow of his eyes faded, returning to their original coloring. Now calm, and further from giving in to his aggressive side, he got back into his seat, crossing his arms and trying to ignore the purple-haired racist. And as the light's went out once again, his eyes glowed once more, resuming the night-vision hoping to see any sort of clue as to what was happening, but as he used this spell in a rushed state of mind, he wasn't able to focus on the spell in time, and he could only see the aftermath. Another death, and it definitely wasn't likely that a human was the killer. Whatever did this was a monster, maybe a Feral, or at least that's what Adam's father called them. Monsters who had lived on the surface and went mad, losing the ability to reason, most likely because of their long existence hiding from humans. According to Gaius, they became nothing more than beasts, savage and dangerous, and needed to be put down for their own good as well as the good of others. Adam never really encountered one of these Ferals, having only heard about them when he was little, but right now, he was hoping they were just one of those scary stories parents told their kids to get them to behave. Asriel started to tune out the rumble of frightened humans and angry monsters. He felt sick to his stomach and he really just wanted to get off the train as quickly as possible. When the lights went out again, he groaned at first. Why wouldn't this day just end? The sudden appearance of the ghastly apparition made him jump, his heart racing. Something was horribly wrong. If the dead body wasn't proof enough. What was worse was the strange feeling of familiarity. It only made it worse. To see a familiar face so... Off.
The fun wasn't over. When those lights kicked back on, all Asriel could do was stare at first. His nightmares looked like this. Inescapable vines and those disgusting yellow flowers. He took a step back, reaching and grasping for Frisk's hand. Not because he felt like she needed protecting. This was for his own comfort. He looked moments away from throwing up.
((Just so we're all clear, there is still only one dead person. It's just been mutilated now))
